You may use the reason ‘Not found as cited’ in VDX

September 3, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The reason ‘Not found as cited’ is only intended for use on copy requests as a means of identifying that the citation does not match with the item.

Doing so means the request does not move to the next location in the rota. It is not for use against loan requests.

You can see a summary of your ILL workload using Work Queue

February 5, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Work Queue allows you to see a summary of your current ILL workload as Requester and Responder. It lists the total number of requests grouped by request status.

You can access Work Queue via Reports, but the easiest method is to use the link from the ILL Request Screen:

  1. Click on the ‘Requests’ button to display the ILL Request Screen.
  2. Either: Click on the ‘Work Queue’ link at the top of the screen or Click on either the ‘Requester’ or ‘Responder’ link under “Your Library’s Role”.

In the Work Queue screen:

  • ‘Total’ shows the total number of requests in that status.
  • ‘Waiting’ is a subset of the total that currently has an authorisation status of To be Acknowledged and might require action on your part.
